Dreamy sounds…

A big hello to everyone from my terrasse. Weather is beautiful today and I am enjoying the evening sun. Just wanted to share a song with you that I love very much and is totally perfect for the easy mood I am in.

It is from German Singer Yvonne Catterfeld and the version I love so much is from a show called “Ina’s Nacht”, hosted by Ina Müller, who is also a super cool artist with a brilliant voice. In her show she invites other musicans and performs their songs together with them, and some great versions emerge out of that.

Dancing Queen

Guys, I had an awesome evening yesterday. I went to “Ehrenfeld Hopping”, Ehrenfeld is a district of Cologne, and yesterday more than 30 bars and pubs in this area participated, there was a special program with concerts, readings, theater, etc. But typical of us we went to one location and stayed there, we went to “Herbrands”, a nice restaurant / bar with a beer garden, good food and for later hours a huge dance area inside.

So when you have everything you need, why should you leave? The music was amazing: The Killers, Bloc Party,… just all of my favorites. Danced and danced for hours and had so much fun.

So my week-end so far was great. Today sun is shining again and later on, two friends drop by with their cute little daughter and we throw on the Barbecue. How has your week-end been so far?

Me and my Iphone

…had a few days to get used to eachother and are already good friends now. The last two days I hardly payed attention to anything else then setting up my new cell and get this fancy apps, which I have to say are just incredible. Doesn’t get in my head how some of them work but that doesn’t matter. I just enjoy!

The first apps I got were:

Shazam (a program that recognizes music and tells you Band and Songtitel)

Facebook

RunKeeper (I can track my running activity via GPS, like distance, speed, path traveled on the map…)

Happy Hippie Music

For some time now a have not only found inspiration for my home decor or wedding on Blogs, I also made great music finds as well. Music is a very important thing in my life and I love to discover new bands and songs that touch me. Like this beautiful song by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, which is one of my favorites at the moment. I already got it on my Ipod and it brightens up my very early mornings. What a gorgeous hippie tune! (With this in my ears I will go running now)
