Don’t want to leave without a little preview:
Just came back from my Jogging track and once again I have to say I love love love the area we live in. It is a little bit outside of the center and very rural. A few years ago I would have never thought that I will live in such a quite place, because I always lived very central in Cologne. But now I really appreciate coming home and being surrounded by nature. Our direct neighbors are two riding stables, there are beautiful meadows with horses and donkeys (the donkey lady is the loudest thing here around because she cries enormously when she is upset) and the river Rhine is just nearby.
I never want to live anywhere else ever again! (Okay, never say never, but I am so enthusiastic today)
My Jogging Track:
…blog from my phone. How cool is that? Sitting in the train from Stuttgart to Cologne and looking forward to being home and enjoying the beautiful weather. Have a great Sunday!
I have been to the cinema yesterday to finally see “The Blind Side”. I really enjoyed it, great story, great actors, funny, touching, everything you need for a good entertainment. And good Storytelling, which I appreciate since I had a great Storytelling Workshop a few years ago.
Uwe Walter from Waltermedia held it and did a great job. He is a director from munich who loves good stories and has so much passion for his work and can convey it to others. His believe is, that everyone has a interesting story in his life to tell and I think, that is true. Uwe and his wife Svenja recently had a very cool Storytelling project: one person, one camera, one true story. About love, illness, shock, friendship or hope. Uwe and Svenja believe, that you can learn best for your life, when you listen to other people. Very intense to watch. The clips are in German, but Svenja told me, she is working on an English clip, which I will share with you when it is completed.
The following story is told by woman that was totally overwhelmed by the generosity of a friend.
Thank you so much Svenja and Uwe! Check out the website of Waltermedia and if you like visit their blog and youtube-Channel.
Here I am after three days in sickbed. The last days haven’t been very pleasent because a stomach flu, or whatever it was, bothered me A LOT. But today I am feeling much much better, life is floating into my body and I am happy I am able to write to you again.
As an abolute TV Show Fanatic that I am I heard with great interest in the Radio on the way home, that 20 years (!!! – oh my god, I am sooooo old) from today Twin Peaks aired for the first time. I was really shocked that it is already so very long ago. I have to admit that I didn’t see the show regularly but I noticed the big hype that it caused and that it was something nobody had ever seen before on TV. Very cool atmosphere, awesome music, great cast and a modern, mysterious way to tell a story. I think I really have to thank Twin Peaks for all the great shows that it enabled. Without knowing it had a great impact on my life for being the cutting edge of a new TV Show Era. (I am so gonna get the DVD next week and do a time travel)
Here is a wonderful version of the Twin Peaks Theme
